St. Augustine tells us that progress in holiness depends on God and myself–on God’s grace and on my will. Each of us must have a true and living resolution to reach holiness. If we are faithful in little practices of love, in little sacrifices, in little interior mortifications, then we will become more Christlike and build within ourselves the life of holiness. Holiness is only a very high degree of love. Let us all unite in helping each other to become holy.
–Mother Teresa, Thirsting for God
I hope you all are doing well, dear bloggers!

About lamehousewife
poetry, articles, thoughts, and quotes... on a quest to be authentic in my motherhood, sisterhood, and daughterhood, but i can tend to become Juvenalian sometimes, maybe in writing but also in life, reading Swift's "A Modest Proposal" as if i were hearing a friend speak to me about the how ridiculous some ideas can become, especially when they begin to drift into reality, mocking all of us really... i identify with Mary Magdalene, James, and Peter and am extremely grateful for that woman who said, "Yes!"...oh and i can be pretty lame...blessings to you, dear reader...pray for a single mother, her children, and the father of her children today!
i hope this is what i am doing in my life also

Yes it does! Thank you,Bella Grace! God bless…
Thank you for sharing this! Biltrix and I were just discussing beating people over the head with a stool, so I think this comes at the right time! . . Okay, we weren’t actually advocating violence, but you can see more here if you want: http://biltrix.com/2012/09/05/if-you-want-to-keep-your-tradition-then-you-must-keep-your-balance/
God love you! – Travis

A good way of looking at it. It’s the little things that add up, the steps that become a path.
Yes, one step at a time…God bless…
